Isaiah 66:8 (701 - 681 B.C.) Who has heard such a thing?, Who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day? Or shall a nation be born at once?...

The Bible foretold that Israel would be destroyed as a nation due to their disobedience to Gods commands and their rejection of Jesus as the Messiah. Jesus Himself prophesied the destruction of the Jewish Temple. These were fulfilled when the Roman Army led by the future Emperor - Titus destroyed the Temple in the Siege of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. In 131 A.D. a Jew - Simon Bar-Kokhba led a rebellion against the Roman Empire which was eventually defeated. Emperor Hadrian banned all Jews from entering Jerusalem and dispersed them all over the world, renaming the land to Syria-Palaestinia. The stones of the old Temple are still there to this day. Nearly 2000 years later as prophesied the nation of Israel was reborn on the 14th of May 1948 when after the holocaust of WWII the United Nations voted to give the Jews back their original homeland.

Bible passages: Ezekiel 22:17-22

Ezekiel 20:33-35 (about 1400 B.C.)  As I live,” declares the Lord GOD, “surely with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm and with wrath poured out, I shall be king over you. I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you from the lands where you are scattered, with a mighty hand and with an outstretched arm and with wrath poured out; and I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will enter into judgment with you face to face."

As a judgment for rejecting their Messiah - Jesus, Jews have been subject to persecutions throughout history. Since World War II, and more so in recent years due to worldwide anti-semitism, many Jews are migrating to Israel in record numbers thus fulfilling prophecy. Most of them do not acknowledge their Messiah Jesus and are even secular in belief, however, God will judge their unfaithfulness to Him but the end result will be all of Israel being saved. (Romans 11:25-27)

Zechariah 12:3 (520-518 BC) “It will come about in that day that I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who lift it will be severely injured. And all the nations of the earth will be gathered against it.

The Bible predicts that the ancient capital of Israel, Jerusalem, will become a place of contention between the nations of the world. In the end,  the nations will gather together and fight against Israel over the disputed land. Recently the U.N. has declared that Israel has no connection to the land and has proclaimed all historical sites to be Islamic despite the fact that the archaeological evidence overwhelmingly shows the connection between the Jews and the land of Israel going back for thousands of years. Islam, on the other hand, did not become a religion until the 6th century A.D. This passage shows the nations of the world setting themselves up against God and what He has declared to be true in His word, the Bible.

Matthew 24:6-7 (about 30 AD) You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end. “For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom... “But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

The phrase "nation will rise against nations" is a Hebrew saying for "World Wars". Prior to technology being developed world wars were impossible due to the distances of transportation but with technological advancements world wars have become a reality. In the last one hundred years we have had two world wars, more people were killed in the 20th century than all other centuries combined. With missile technology, nuclear weapons can be fired all over the planet.

With the rise of radical terrorism, and aggressive actions by the U.S.A, Russia, China. The possibility of World War III is very likely.

Out of the distress of global war mankind will look for a world leader who can bring about a peaceful solution.

Isaiah 17 (about 700 BC) “Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city, And it will be a ruinous heap. The cities of Aroer are forsaken; They will be for flocks Which lie down, and no one will make them afraid. The fortress also will cease from Ephraim, The kingdom from Damascus, And the remnant of Syria; They will be as the glory of the children of Israel,” Says the Lord of hosts.

Damascus is one of the oldest cities in history and although it has seen much conflict over the centuries never before has it been completely wiped out to the point of being a ruinous heap and ceased from being a city. Today the city of Damascus, as well as Allepo, has in some parts been reduced to rubble and left uninhabitable due to the war with ISIS. Many are unaware of the many nations that currently have their Armies in SyriaThere have also been recent tensions growing between Israel and Syria with Israel carrying out airstrikes in Syria and the Syrian government promising retaliation. This could be the beginning of a conflict that will eventually lead to the complete destruction of Damascus.

Luke 21:11 (30 - 35 AD) ...there will be great earthquakes...and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.

Revelation 16:18 (90 - 95 A.D) And there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder; and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty.

Most people recognize that weather patterns have been abnormally erratic in recent years, there has also been an unusual increase in earthquakes all over the world in places that traditionally have not seen them. As a result of this wild weather, there has been a substantial loss of life. However, the Bible warns that this is a global warning to mankind from God that the end is nearing. Mankind has not taken care of the planet that God gave to us to have dominion over instead the world is full of violence, abuse, and pollution. These disasters will only get worse as we approach the end.

Luke 21:28-30 (33 A.D)  “... in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. “

In the modern western society most people are self centred and self obsessed, entertainment has become the focus of most peoples lives and morality has degraded as prophesied by Jesus Christ and the Apostle Paul. Jesus tells us that because of lawlessness many will fall away from their love of God.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 (51 - 52 A.D) ...for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Revelation 13:5-8 The beast was given... to exercise its authority for forty-two months... It was given power to wage war against Godʼs holy people and to conquer them. And it was given authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation. All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast...

The Bible speaks of a world government system and leader known as "The Beast", "The Anti-Christ" or "Man of Sin".  He will appear to be the solution to the world's problems and is described as a 'Man of War'  who will likely be a military leader and subdue many nations to finally bring a peace as a "Messiah" figure especially to the Jews. The peace will be short lived and he will turn out to be a tyrannical dictator similar to previous world leaders such as Adolf Hitler or Mao Se Tung but on a global scale. He will proclaim himself to be "god" and demand worship. The Bible tells that Christians, Jews and anyone who refuses to worship the beast will be put to death. (Revelation 20:4)

Written: about 90 AD

Revelation 13:12 (90 - 95 A.D.) He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. And he makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast... He performs great signs... And he deceives those who dwell on the earth because of the signs which it was given him to perform in the presence of the beast...

A religious leader will arise that Bible calls "the False Prophet". He will likely act as the public relations man for the Anti-Christ in the New World Order, much the same as Joseph Goebbels was to Hitler. He will likely help unite the religions of the world under the banner of 'world peace' and 'oneness' but ultimately he will force all people to worship the Anti-Christ, those who resist will be beheaded. Currently, there is a move to create a "United Nations" type council of religions. Whilst his identity is unknown it is possible that the Roman Catholic Pope could fit the description of the False Prophet, Pope Francis is pushing for unity between all faiths in an unprecedented way, like no other Pope before him.

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 (51. - 52 A.D.) ...for that Day will not come unless... the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

After the destruction of the previous two Jewish temples in Jerusalem, a third temple will be built. Currently, the "Temple Institute" in Israel has complete blueprints of the future temple and are ready to begin building as soon as they have permission. They have also begun training the Levitical priesthood and have created all the temple furniture and ornaments, they have also been breeding a "Red Heifer" which is vital for the temple purification rituals (Numbers 19). The training priests have begun to practice for the future restoration of the Old Testament sacrificial system. At this stage, it remains to be seen if the "Dome of the rock" will be destroyed or if the temple will be built next to it.

The temple will likely be rebuilt as a part of the peace deal between the Jews and the surrounding Muslim nations. After deceiving the Jews and the world that he will bring peace, the Anti-Christ will proclaim himself to be a god in this temple.

Revelation 13:15-17 (90 - 95 A.D.) And it was given to him (the false prophet) to... cause as many as do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. And he causes all... to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark...

With the advancement of technology in recent years the prospect of a completely cashless society is a reality, at no time in history would this have been possible. Many advantages can be cited as reasons for something like a microchip or RFID chip to be implanted and made compulsory in all people, reasons such as security, ease of banking, medical history records and many more.

The Bible tells us that the imposed mark known as the "mark of the beast" will be forced upon all people in conjunction with worship of the Anti-Christ in his New World Order. Those who refuse will face the death penalty.

Christianity is the most persecuted religion in the world. True Christians have always been persecuted throughout history beginning with the Roman Empire when the Emperors began to demand to be worshiped as god's and from the Roman Catholic Church when they refused to recognize the Pope's authority. In recent years as prophesied - persecution has increased again in places like the Middle East, Africa, China and many others. The world's religions are moving toward a global peace and unity which will come under the Anti-Christ and False Prophet. During the time known in the Bible as 'The Great Tribulation,' many Christians will face beheading because of their refusal to take the mark and worship the Anti-Christ.

2 Thessalonians 2:3 ...with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him...  Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy (falling away) comes first,

2 Thessalonians 2:9 The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and false wonder, and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them. For this reason, God will send them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie, in order that judgment will come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.

The Bible tells of a mass spiritual deception and an abandonment of the true Christian faith, which we are seeing dramatically already. The Bible warns that in the last day's people will no longer hold to the biblical teachings of Jesus Christ, but rather, people would look towards men who teach false gospels. These false teachers and prophets will eventually lead people to join with other false religions of the world. This is a judgment on those who refuse to love the truth revealed in God's word. Currently, there is a big push to become more 'tolerant' toward other religions and to accept them as valid ways to God. This is in contradiction to what Jesus taught - that He alone is the only way to be saved.
